Max has been involved in the field of hypnosis since the mid 1960’s. His early work centered on enhancing learning, memory and motivation. In the early 1970’s he was active in the field of Altered States of Consciousness. Max’s initial training was in electroneurophysiology, specializing in brain waves. He became an expert in sleep and dream research and altered states of consciousness. In 1972 he was accepted into the U.S. - Soviet Health Exchange Program and lived in Moscow for six weeks. During that time he met and studied with Dr. Vladimr Raikov. Max learned new induction techniques and applications of hypnosis.
